My story

Protecting families because I have one.

I am Kristi Duplechain, owner of Kristi Knows Health Coverage LLC. My company is built as a full concierge service, walking clients from the first question through the full health insurance journey.

I started this business as a single mom with my then four-year-old daughter, who everyone calls Ducky. I am from North Baton Rouge, now living in Livingston, Louisiana. I graduated from Walker High School and Southeastern Louisiana University, home of the Lions.

In the middle of finals before graduation, I became a homeless single mother, breastfeeding and living in my car with my tiny human. The first job that came to me was with a phone company, and that is where I saw how confusing and costly insurance could become when the coverage offered was Marketplace. That experience cost me thousands before the company made it right, and it lit a fire in me.

I began studying everything I could about health insurance, life insurance, and retirement. Today, I have grown my business organically across 48 states, and as of 2024 ranked as the number two broker in the country.

I truly love helping people. Insurance should be something you can fall back on when you need it most, not another headache. When I am not working, I am enjoying life with Ducky and our two dogs, Goose Wayne and Papi Truilo. We love adventures, hiking, trying new foods, traveling, and spending time in our garden.

I also own Pro-Source Networking, where we teach and support small businesses with the fundamentals they need to run stronger and stop failing.

This is personal for me. You deserve more than a policy. You deserve an advocate in your corner.
